How to find a trustworthy practitioner

Word of mouth is still the safest route. If you have no one in your circle, here are the three criteria we check before referring anyone. Read them before booking, anywhere.

    The 3 non-negotiable criteria
    01

    Verifiable diploma

An identifiable school, a meaningful number of training years - experience matters. If the training is vague, walk away.

    02

Does not sell supplements in session

A serious practitioner may recommend a specific form (bisglycinate, EPA-rich omega-3…); never their own brand at the end of the visit. Immediate conflict of interest.

    03

Never tells you to stop your prescribed treatment

Naturopathy complements; it does not replace. Anyone telling you to drop a prescribed medication is dangerous, full stop.

    04

Takes time and follows up over months

A serious practitioner spends real time with you - not a fifteen-minute appointment - and follows you over several months for proper work.
