Linoleic acid (LA)

Founding essential fatty acid of the omega-6 family. The body cannot synthesise it and must obtain it from the diet, mainly from sunflower, walnut and corn oils. Without it, no omega-6 derivative can be produced: neither GLA, nor DGLA, nor arachidonic acid.
