DIM (Di-Indolyl-Methane)
A derivative of indole-3-carbinol found in cruciferous vegetables. Modulates hepatic detoxification phases I and II and promotes the conversion of oestrogens into 2-hydroxyestrone, a less active and protective metabolite. Possible side effects include hot flushes and digestive disorders.
