Leaky gut (Intestinal hyperpermeability)

Alteration of tight junctions in the intestinal barrier allowing molecules normally retained (LPS, food fragments) to enter the circulation. Involves low-grade systemic inflammation and is associated with autoimmune, skin and neurological diseases.
