Resveratrol

Stilbenoid polyphenol found in grape skin, blueberries, red wine and peanuts. It activates SIRT1 (sirtuin 1), an enzyme regulating cell ageing and DNA repair in keratinocytes. It inhibits NF-kB, reduces MMP-1 (collagenase) production and activates the Nrf2 pathway. Its oral bioavailability is variable and improved by taking it with fats.
