Red clover (Trifolium pratense)

A plant with oestrogen-like properties via its isoflavones, used to reduce hot flushes and as a diuretic. Contraindicated in cases of hormone-dependent cancer history, pregnancy and breastfeeding. Documented interaction with anticoagulants.
