Contraindication

Clinical, physiological or medication-related situation in which the use of a substance is discouraged or forbidden because of a risk of harm. Medicinal plants have real contraindications despite their natural image: pregnancy, breastfeeding, specific conditions, drug interactions. Their natural character does not automatically make them safe.
